Terms and Conditions of Sale

At My HVAC Price, your complete satisfaction is our goal. In an effort to meet this goal, we have established the following policies which will help us serve you better.

1. Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be submitted within one (1) business day (as long as the order has not been shipped) in writing (email: support@myhvacprice.com) to receive a 100% refund. Refunds will be returned in the same method in which payment was originally processed.

If an order is cancelled after one (1) business day, we reserve the right to charge a 10% restocking fee.

Once an ordered item has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled. If an order is refused at delivery, you will be charged a 15% restocking/admin fee unless there is visible damage to the item.

For items delivered but refused for anything other than damage, the customer is responsible for the followings:

  • The original outbound shipping costs incurred by My HVAC Price.
  • The shipping costs to return the order to our warehouse.
  • A 15% restocking fee based on the total purchase price.

2. Returns and Refund Policy

In the event that you need to return your purchased item(s), we will refund your purchase price less shipping and handling provided you meet these minimum criteria. There will be a 15% restocking fee based on the total price of your order plus all associated insured freight costs to deliver and return materials to the warehouse.

  • The original box must be neatly taped with clear tape (no colored tape is accepted). The supplier will not issue a refund if original boxes are missing.
  • The equipment must be in like new condition meaning the original merchandise and boxes must be in the same condition as when received.
  • The equipment or merchandise must not have been installed, damaged, or scratched.
  • All Manufacturer documentation must be included (specification sheets, installation guides and warranty information).
  • Any equipment received by freight carriers must be returned in the same manner.
  • Smaller returns must be sent with tracking information (ie: Fedex or UPS).
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable. Shipping cost will be deducted for any items returned that originated with “Free Shipping” based on the actual cost incurred by My HVAC Price.

My HVAC Price will accept returns of equipment for a period of 14 days from the date of receipt by the customer. Returns requested after the 14-day period will not be accepted without the manufacturer’s approval. This policy covers both systems and/or supplies. The cost of the original freight and the return insured freight is the responsibility of the buyer.

My HVAC Price is not responsible for damaged or lost shipments. We will assist in filing a claim with the shipper regarding lost shipments. Visibly damaged shipments must be refused at time of delivery. 

Refunds will be credited in the same manner in which payment was received (i.e. credit or debit card, Paypal, finance company, or company check for all other payment methods).

Please allow up to 3 weeks for refund from the time My HVAC Price receives your equipment return.

3. My HVAC Price Order Fulfillment

Incorrect items or short shipped items listed on the signed packing slip must be reported to My HVAC Price within 24 hours of the receipt of the shipment. Shortages that are not noted on the signed delivery receipt will not be accepted by My HVAC Price. If the error was on My HVAC Price’s part, My HVAC Price will be responsible for return and replacement shipping costs.

4. Shipping Info/Shipping Claims/ Refunds/Replacement

Please read our Shipping Information carefully. Claims resulting from shipping damage will be the responsibility of the customer to resolve with the carrier. We are happy to assist this process for you. However, the delivering carrier has final say as to the outcome of your claim.

5. Liability

My HVAC Price cannot be held liable for damages, consequential or inconsequential, resulting from the installation or operation of equipment. This equipment IS NOT intended to be installed by anyone without the proper expertise, background, and certification. While we acknowledge and applaud do-it-yourselfers, you accept all risk for both installation and equipment selection. We strongly encourage an on-site inspection by a certified professional. Our advice is the result of information obtained by you and is limited in that we don’t have full knowledge of the details and scope of your particular needs. We will do our best, given the limited circumstances under which our advice is administered, to provide you with accurate and up to date information.

6. Warranties      Please Read Our Warranty Policy Carefully

All equipment sold by My HVAC Price includes a Manufacturer’s Warranty. We recommend that you read the full Warranty included with your purchase to understand what is or is not included in their Warranty. This information could also be found on the Manufacturer’s individual websites. We strongly recommend registering your equipment with the manufacturer immediately upon installation. Installation must be completed by a licensed contractor for warranty purposes and for your safety. You must send us proof of Installation by your licensed contractor within 45 days of equipment receipt.

Manufacturer’s Warranty does not include replacement of entire systems, only parts, as necessary at the manufacturer’s discretion.

Unless otherwise stated, in the event a warranty repair is required, simply contact a local air conditioning & heating professional and they can obtain the replacement part free of charge or, if necessary, the manufacturer may provide the replacement part. Shipping and handling charges are the customer’s responsibility. This equipment IS NOT intended to be installed by anyone without the proper expertise, background, and certification. While we acknowledge and applaud do-it-yourselfers, you accept all risk for both installation and equipment selection. Any applicable warranty will be void if the installation is not completed by a licensed contractor adhering to all applicable federal, State, and local codes, and licensing requirements.

To validate your warranty claim, a licensed contractor must diagnose the failure and identify the specific part or parts that have failed. This diagnosis must be detailed on a service ticket or company letterhead from the contractor and a copy submitted with the returned part. Failure to submit this diagnosis will result in denial of any warranty claim. It is the customer’s responsibility to register equipment online with the manufacturer. In the unlikely event assistance is needed through My HVAC Price, an administrative fee of $50 will be charged.

Purchases from My HVAC Price do not include any labor warranty. A labor warranty may be provided by your licensed contractor.

My HVAC Price does not provide any additional warranty other than the manufacturer’s warranty.

7. Important Notice

Purchaser hereby acknowledges that federal law prohibits opening the refrigeration lines of any equipment purchase. A properly licensed person must handle the refrigerant contained in any unit/system. Purchaser hereby assumes full responsibility for the safe and proper installation in accordance with applicable local code requirements.

8. Equipment Selection

My HVAC Price does not guarantee or accept responsibility for the merchantability or fitness of the equipment for any particular application. Any suggestions that may be provided by My HVAC Price concerning system sizing and/or selection are subject to an onsite inspection by a knowledgeable professional to confirm suitability and fitness for your project. Always have your purchase choice reviewed by a local contractor prior to placing an order with My HVAC Price to ensure compatibility with your application.

9. Typographical Errors and Inaccuracies

My HVAC Price has taken great care to prepare this web site in a responsible manner. The content presented within this web site serves as ‘information only’. Therefore, My HVAC Price cannot accept responsibility for the material published, which may include typographical errors, omissions or misstatements. Manufacturers continuously update their equipment and we are not always notified. Therefore, we cannot be held responsible for our product descriptions that may vary from the manufacturers actual production.
